Berber - Zahr

This vintage Moroccan runner, handcrafted with care,  was sourced from the High Atlas Mountain region. Made of wool and cotton, it offers both durability and softness underfoot. Its burnt orange hue, combined with its passionate red, will add warmth and vibrancy to your space.  The iconic Berber lozenge/diamond motifs are symbolic for warding off evil, but can also represent female attributes and fertility.  Without knowing the story of the woman who made it, it makes for interesting interpretation.  Showcase the rich heritage of the Berber culture with this beautifully thick Moroccan runner.  Measures approximately 3’6” x 9’, with a 1” fringe on one end.
