Azilal - Kamaria

This plush vintage Moroccan rug/runner was sourced from the High Atlas Mountains. Handmade from sheep’s wool, its varying shades of brown on a creamy background are a comforting colour scheme.  Filled withe Berber/Amazigh geometric triangular motifs, it makes for interesting interpretation of the story behind the woman who made it.  This rug/runner would make a cozy addition bedside or in a hallway.  It could also be hung and make a welcoming piece of wall art.  As it is extremely soft and easy to fold, it would also be perfect draped over the foot of a bed, or on your favourite armchair or sofa.  Measures 2’5” at its widest (2’1” at its narrowest) x  5’6” long.

This is both a vintage piece and a handcrafted item and, as such, may show signs of wear and may have 'perfect imperfections'.  We believe such imperfections add to the unique character and charm of each piece.
