Beni Ourain (Rashida)

This charming, authentic Beni Ourain was hand-knotted in the Middle Atlas Mountain region using 100% natural, undyed sheep’s wool.  With its medium-high pile, it is lovely and soft underfoot and will bring warmth and coziness to your home.  The cream background is dominated by a single black ‘X’ - a traditional female symbol seen in Berber rugs (often interpreted as a body with the arms and legs spread out), and is anchored on either end with a thin black border.  Measures approximately 3’6” x 5’9”, with 2” tassels on one end.
