This striking kilim from Oued Zem, a city in the Middle Atlas Mountain region of Morocco, was hand-loomed from natural wool, on a cotton warp, and embroidered with Berber motifs. It’s a light-weight piece that can be used on the floor, but also draped over the back of a sofa or favourite armchair, or as a lovely tapestry for the wall. Measures approximately 3’4” x 4’9”, with a slight 2” fringe on one end.
