Safi Square Serving Dish - Blue

Handcrafted in Safi, Morocco, this square serving dish is made from the region’s distinctive red terracotta clay, shaped and hand-painted by skilled artisans. Finished in classic white with a blue design.

Although square in form, the corners are subtly angled, adding to its unique handmade nature.  The surface is flat and open, without a raised rim, making it well suited to serving dry foods such as pastries, bread, dates, or sweets, or to use as a decorative tray on a coffee table or console.  Measures approximately 8.5” square x 1.5” high (21cm x 4cm).  

Each Safi piece is crafted and glazed by hand using traditional techniques. Variations in form, surface, glaze coverage, and small imperfections are inherent to this process and should be expected. These details reflect the authenticity and individuality of the piece and are not considered defects.
