Taznacht Kilim (Abbas)

This special vintage wool kilim was hand-loomed in Taznacht, a town near to Ouarzazate (often referred to as the Gateway to the Sahara).  Using camel hair, this tightly woven piece is between 35 to 40 years old, and is embellished with embroidered Berber motifs.  A striking piece for the floor or wall.  Measures approximately 3’10” x 2’2”, with a 2” fringe on one end.

This is both a vintage piece and a handcrafted item and, as such, may show signs of wear and may have 'perfect imperfections'.  We believe such features add to the unique character and charm of each piece.  This piece is in excellent condition.
