Azilal (Anis)

This vintage Azilal rug from Morocco’s High Atlas mountain region is a hand-knotted wool beauty.  The  design features geometric triangles — upright and inverted — arranged in a rhythmic pattern. Earthy tones are interspersed with pops of brighter colour, adding depth and personality.  Finished with a short fringe along one end, this rug works well anywhere a compact, colourful piece is needed.  Measures approximately 3’ x 5’7”.

As this is a handmade and vintage rug, slight irregularities in size and workmanship, and possible signs of age are part of its character and story.
