Marmoucha (Asem)

This authentic Moroccan rug was hand-knotted with care in the Middle Atlas Mountains by the skilled artisans of the Marmoucha tribe.  Made from pure, undyed sheep's wool, this rug boasts a long, shaggy pile for a luxurious feel underfoot.  The cream-colored wool is accented with dark brown/black lozenge (diamond) motifs, as well as a few polka dots!  Adding warmth and timeless elegance to any living space, this piece measures approximately 4’5” x 7’4” with 3” braided tassels on one end.
