This Azilal rug, hand-knotted from wool and cotton, has a very low pile and a supple feel that makes it almost blanket-like — suitable for layering over furniture or a bed as well as on the floor. Its cream base is patterned with chocolate brown diamonds, and accented with subtle peekaboo hints of teal, pink, and other colours. A slight fringe at one end completes its relaxed yet distinctive look. This rug measures approximately 3′7″ × 5′9″.
As this is a handmade and vintage rug, slight irregularities in size and workmanship, and possible signs of age are part of its character and story.
