This hand-knotted Azilal rug from Morocco’s High Atlas Mountains is small but mighty. Measuring approximately 1′10″ × 5′9″, it features a cream wool base with a bold purple pattern and a few flecks of yellow cotton. A subtle black border frames the design, and a thick, fluffy fringe runs along one end.
As this is a handmade and vintage rug, slight irregularities in size and workmanship, and possible signs of age are part of its character and story.
