This Boucherouite rug is hand-knotted with vibrant up-cycled cotton fabric, with substantial weight. Bold turquoise and orange colours are the backdrop to diamond and flower-like motifs of varying sizes and colours, giving the piece energy and personality. A two-inch fringe along one edge adds to its casual, handmade character. It measures approximately 3’9” × 7’2”.
As this is a handmade and vintage rug, slight irregularities in size and workmanship, and possible signs of age are part of its character and story.
