Boucherouite (Amira)

This vintage Boucherouite rug from the High Atlas Mountain region was hand-knotted using a mix of up-cycled wool and cotton. The low pile gives it a light, supple feel, while still offering warmth underfoot.  The soft cream background is patterned with dark brown diamond motifs, each accented in the middle with a pop of neon pink or blue, giving the rug a distinctive, fun, relaxed look.  This piece works well in bedrooms, studios, or laid-back living spaces.  Measures approximately 3’4” x 6’11”.

As this is a handmade and vintage rug, slight irregularities in size and workmanship, and possible signs of age are part of its character and story.
