This Guigou kilim (from the Boulemane province in the Middle Atlas Mountains) was hand-woven on a traditional loom using wool on a cotton warp. Set against a creamy white background, there are numerous rows of traditional Berber symbols in a slate grey colour. Measures 2’10” x 3’10”, with a 3” fringe on one end.
