Marmoucha - Asem

This authentic, hand-knotted Moroccan rug is a testament to artistry and tradition. Crafted with care in the heart of the Middle Atlas Mountains by the skilled artisans of the Marmoucha tribe, this rug embodies the essence of Moroccan heritage.  Made from pure, undyed sheep's wool, this rug boasts a long, shaggy pile for a luxurious underfoot feel. The cream-colored wool is accented with dark brown/black lozenge (diamond) motifs, which are symbolic for protection and warding off evil.  Adding warmth and timeless elegance to any living space, this piece measures approximately 4’5” x 7’4” with 3” braided tassels on one end.
